- interactive exhibits in our Discovery Zone as you're invited to get hands-on with our interactive displays
- behind the scenes access to see areas of our museum usually off limits to the public and learn more about how we look after the objects in our care
Throughout history, museum objects on display take centre stage, while those in storage remain out of sight. We're hoping to challenge this concept and remove the divide between what visitors see and areas only accessible to staff and researchers. This is part of our commitment to provide better access to our collection so that it can be a valuable resource for the community.
