Eggshibition
Every 2 years, Eggshibition transforms Preston Park Museum into a vibrant showcase of creativity and community spirit. This unique exhibition brings together local community groups, schools, care homes, and artists. With over 1,500 beautifully decorated eggs. The display is a testament to the power of collaboration and imagination.
A special collaboration with Useful Vision
One of the many groups participating is Useful Vision, a north east charity dedicated to providing positive experiences for vision-impaired children and their families.
Emma Hogg from Useful Vision shared her excitement about the project:
The children have had great fun with this fantastic community art project. They used a range of materials to decorate their eggs, including feathers, bubble wrap, and Velcro, making it a real sensory experience. It gives the group a fantastic opportunity to have their work of art on display for all to see in the Museum.
