Teddy Bears' Picnic

There's plenty for your teddy to enjoy, with a jam-packed programme of activities including:

• a visit to the Teddy Bears' Hospial
• creative craft sessions 
• story time adventures
• a special visit from the Library Bus 
• dress your bear in a brand-new outfit made by our volunteers (small charge per item)

You can relax and enjoy your picnic in our bandstand. The Spence Cafe will also be open for you to visit.

• Teddy Bears' Picnic will take place at Preston Park Museum on Sunday 2 August 2026

• entry to the event is included with an annual or day Museum Pass
