The Great Swallow Adventure Museum trail

Currently there are no instances scheduled for this event

Join us this Easter for The Great Swallow Adventure, a fun, family-friendly trail that takes young explorers on a journey through the museum!

The iconic Swallow sign from the Swallow Hotel in Stockton has been transformed into a sculpture using stained glass, lighting and projection by local artist Stuart Langley. The former hotel was demolished in 2022 to make way for the Stockton Waterfront Urban Park and the sculpture is on display at the museum.

Families can set off on The Great Swallow Adventure, an indoor trail inspired by this stunning sculpture.

  • follow clues hidden around the museum
  • solve mini-challenges and puzzles at each stop
  • help the swallow complete its journey by collecting stamps along the way
