Enjoy food and drink at our Victorian tearoom

Step back in time and enjoy delicious coffee from local suppliers, homemade scones or cakes in our traditional tearoom on the Victorian Street. It’s a lovely place to relax, refuel and soak up the atmosphere.

Open from 10am – 3.30pm (Tuesday to Sunday, open Mondays during Stockton School holidays and bank holidays).

You can also enjoy hot drinks to takeaway from the tearoom hatch at the rear of the museum.

Bring a picnic

We have designated picnic areas in the park and in the Orchard during the summer, if you would like to bring your own food and drink.

Cafe in the park

The cafe in the park, Cafe Tees, is located next to the adventure play area, perfect for quick snacks and treats. It’s open at the following times (please be aware that the cafe can get very busy during school holidays and weekends):

Weekdays: 11am – 3pm (closed Mondays)

Weekend: 11am – 4pm

BBQs

Please help us keep the park safe for all our wildlife and their habitats by not using BBQs anywhere on the parkland.
