Transforming your museum and park

Exciting changes are happening at Preston Park

Work is underway to transform Preston Park Museum & Grounds. The ambitious plans aim to create an inspiring visitor destination, where family and friends can come together to play, learn and explore our rich local heritage.

The park and museum are expected to remain open throughout the work; however you may notice that it is noisier than usual and we may have to temporarily close areas at short notice. Please check our website and social media channels before visiting.

What’s planned?

Work is underway to create a bold, modern extension to the museum. Improvements to facilities in the park will make it a better place for everyone.
