Museum closed

In line with the latest Government restrictions, the museum will remain closed until further notice.

The park, car park, toilets, play area, and skate park will remain open, please check latest Government guidance before visiting and follow social distancing. 

 

Annual pass holders

All those with annual tickets to the museum can have their pass extended for the period of closure.

Yes – the park grounds, skate park, café, play area and toilets will remain open for local people to exercise.

During the closure, staff will have the opportunity to carry out essential maintenance work, which would not usually be possible when open to the public.

Staff will also support priority tasks across Council services, making sure the people of the Borough are looked after this winter.
