Join our team of volunteers
We rely on over 150 volunteers who help bring our wonderful museum, park and gardens to life. There are many different roles to get involved in from public engagement to gardening and researching objects within our collection. You don’t need any experience, just lots of enthusiasm.
Why volunteer with us? There will be lots of opportunities to learn new skills and have fun, build your confidence, meet new people, be part of a friendly and welcoming community, make a valuable and worthwhile contribution, gain skills and experience or share your existing ones, boost your CV, help preserve our local heritage, and share your passion and enthusiasm.
