Nature

We’ve put together a range of resources and activities inspired by our outdoor education sessions. Each section will focus on something different, but don’t feel like you have to do the whole thing in one day. Being out in nature, whether it’s listening to birdsong or doing a bit of gardening, is a great way to improve your mental health and wellbeing.

If you need any support or additional materials please get in touch.

These resources have been created with EYFS and KS1 in mind, but they are a great way to introduce mini beasts, habitats and life cycles to other year groups too.

Urban Welly Walks

We hope you enjoy these fun and (sometimes) messy activities, inspired by our Woodland Welly Walk.

Gardens

Preston Park has a number of beautiful gardens, including the Winter Garden which is full of exotic plants, and the Walled Garden, which would have provided fresh vegetables and flowers for the families who lived here.

Park
