Come and meet Father Christmas in his traditional grotto on the Victorian Street at Preston Park Museum, every weekend from Saturday 30 November until Sunday 22 December. With twinkly festoon lights hung above the cobbles and traditional swags and wreaths decorating the street, we promise to make your visit magical!

- Festive craft to make and take home
- Explore the Victorian Street and museum, which will be decorated for Christmas
- Make your own magic reindeer food (the birds and wildlife will love it too!)

When can I see Father Christmas in his grotto?

Father Christmas will be at the museum every weekend from Saturday 30 November until Sunday 22 December.
How much is it?
A visit to see Father Christmas is £12 per child and includes a gift. You will also need to buy a ticket for the museum or show a valid annual museum pass. Without this, you will not be able to visit the grotto. Once you purchase your museum ticket, you can visit the museum free for a year. See our museum admission prices here
Booking information
This event is now sold out, we’re sorry if you missed out on tickets. You need to have pre-booked tickets to see Father Christmas.
On the day of your visit
- On the day of your visit, you will need to purchase a museum ticket from the Welcome Desk or show a valid annual museum pass when you arrive. Without this, you will not be able to visit the grotto.
- Please show your Santa booking confirmation email to a member of staff on arrival.
- Our grotto is located in a shop on the Victorian Street of the museum.
- You can arrive at the grotto at any time during your booked slot. Your visit with Father Christmas will last about 5 minutes.

Parking
Free parking is available within both the main and overflow car parks. Designated disabled spaces are located within the main car park, adjacent to Cafe Tees.
Accessibility
Our grotto is located in a shop on the Victorian Street of the museum. It is accessible for wheelchairs however the entrance is narrow (doorway 77cm wide) and there is a small step. We recommend leaving pushchairs outside. The museum is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
Dogs
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the museum.
Cancellation/refund policy
Unfortunately, we are unable to amend your booking due to limited availability. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable. Your ticket is only valid for the time slot that you have booked and cannot be used for any other session. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact museum@stockton.gov.uk. We reserve the right to cancel an event. If the event is cancelled by ourselves, you will receive a full refund.
