Join the S&DR 26miles Heritage Project for a rail-tastic day of family fun as we celebrate 200 years of our railway heritage! Did you know that the famous Stockton and Darlington Railway route ran through the grounds of Preston Park?
Get all aboard and creative with these fun activities, which are drop-in throughout the day:
- Print your own railway ticket
- Create your own engine driver’s hat
- Add your paper train or station to our Community Railway Line
Do I need to book?
There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day. The event is on at Preston Park Museum from 10am – 3.30pm.
