Come and meet our traditional Father Christmas at Preston Park Museum, every weekend from Saturday 2 December until Saturday 23 December.
Your visit will include:
- 5 magical minutes visiting Father Christmas in his traditional grotto

- Christmas Eve reindeer dust activity

How much is it?
A visit to see Father Christmas is £10 per child (including one child admission to the museum for the day of the visit).
Any visitors in your party (age 3 and over) without a ticket to see Father Christmas will only need to purchase a museum admission ticket or show a valid annual museum pass. You can buy admission tickets on the day. Once you purchase a museum ticket, you can visit us free for a year. See our museum admission prices.
Please note, if you have a child under 3 in your party without a Meet Father Christmas ticket, they won’t receive a gift or keepsake ticket, or be able to take part in the reindeer dust activity.
On the day of your visit
- Please show the email booking confirmation on your arrival
- Adults and children (age 3 and over) without a ticket to see Father Christmas will need to purchase a museum ticket from the front desk or show a valid annual museum pass (usual admission applies)
- Father Christmas’s traditional grotto is in a shop on the Victorian Street
- You can arrive at the grotto at any time during your booked slot
- Children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult at all times
Accessibility
The grotto is located in a shop on the Victorian Street of the museum. It is accessible for wheelchairs, however the entrance is narrow (doorway 77cm wide) and there is a small step. The museum is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
Dogs
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the museum.
Cancellation/refund policy
Unfortunately, we are unable to amend your booking due to limited availability. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable. Your ticket is only valid for the time slot that you have booked and cannot be used for any other session. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact museum@stockton.gov.uk. We reserve the right to cancel an event. If the event is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund.
