We’ll be re-opening our doors on Thursday 30 November, 5.30pm until 8.00pm, for a special late night event. Come and soak up the wonderful atmosphere and enjoy:
- Our festive makeover on the Victorian Street looking even more magical
- Exploring the museum galleries after hours
- Browsing our Christmas shop for unique gifts, cards and decorations
- Getting cosy and warm with our seasonal hot drinks and treats available to purchase from the Victorian Tearoom

This event takes place on Thursday 30 November, 5.30-8.00pm.
Museum admission tickets are not valid for this special event. Entry into the museum is £3 per person for all visitors aged 16 and over (under 16s are free).

I have a valid museum admission ticket, do I still need to pay?
Yes, normal admission tickets are not valid for this special event.
Do I need to book?
There’s no need to book, just turn up. You will need to purchase an event ticket at the welcome desk on your arrival.
If I’m visiting the museum during the day, can I stay for the late night opening?
We’ll be closing our doors as usual at 4pm. They will reopen at 5.30pm and all visitors (aged 16 and over) would need to pay £3 entry to gain access to the museum.
