We’re ‘eggs-cited’ (excuse the pun!) to announce that the popular Eggshibition will return to Preston Park this Easter. Come along to the museum from the 22 March to 24 April and see over 1,500 decorated eggs made by local schools and community groups, in a unique egg-themed collection of community art.
This year’s theme celebrates our beautiful Tees Valley. You can expect to see some cracking egg designs displayed in a giant panoramic map of our area.
Our eggs are made of recycled polystyrene and some have been reused up to 5 times! If you have you decorated an egg for a previous Eggshibition, keep an eye out for it, as we try and re-use as many as possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to the museum to celebrate everyone’s hard work.
