We’re back with our Toddler Takeover! We’re inviting your toddler to ‘take over’ Preston Park Museum on Friday 22 March at our exciting eco-themed event.
Take your little eco hero on an exciting journey through our museum galleries. Let them get hands-on with a series of interactive activities including:

- Make your own butterfly craft to take home
- Be an eco warrior and help with sorting and recycling
- Be a Preston Park gardener and use our mini wheelbarrows to transport fruit and veg
- Pretend to be a park ranger with our mini litter pickers
- Nature-themed colouring-in, reading and games!
You can take part in the activities in any order and in your own time. Our friendly staff and volunteers will be on hand to help you.
What age is this event suitable for?
This event is dedicated to our youngest visitors and is ideal for children under 4 (accompanied by an adult).

How do I book?

Book your free child place via EventBrite by clicking on your chosen time above.
Spaces are limited so please pre-book your child’s place in advance (you do not need to book adult places, just every child attending).
You will be emailed your Toddler Takeover ticket. Please bring a printed version or show it on your phone on the day.
Toddler Takeover is free however you will need to pay museum admission if you don’t already have a valid ticket. Don’t forget to bring your ticket with you (we do not accept photocopies, bank statements or pictures from a phone).
If you don’t have a museum ticket, you can buy one on the day from our Welcome Desk. All of our tickets give you unlimited visits for a year and under 3s are free. Find out more about our admission prices.
