Experience the magic of the dawn chorus as our park rangers guide you on a peaceful walk through the woods to enjoy nature’s most beautiful soundtrack. During the walk, our rangers will help you to identify different calls and species.
This event is limited to a small group of just 12 people.
After your walk, warm up and refuel with a delicious breakfast bun at the museum, freshly prepared by Barefoot Kitchen.
What to expect:
- Meet at the museum entrance on Sunday 4 May at 5.15am for a gentle guided walk around the park to hear the dawn chorus
- The walk will last about 1hour and 15 minutes
- During the guided walk, our rangers will help you identify different bird calls and point out other local wildlife.
- After, enjoy a delicious breakfast bun at the museum freshly prepared by Barefoot Kitchen
What do I need to bring:
- We recommend wearing comfortable and sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing
- Binoculars if you have them

Due to the uneven terrain this walk is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Places are limited and must be pre-booked. Tickets are £15 per person (includes breakfast)
