Make your own fabulous ceramic mug and cake plate with Muddy Fingers Pottery – perfect for your next tea party! In this friendly half-day workshop, you will be guided by our professional potter where you will:
- Design your own mug and cake plate using slabs
- Add embellishments (we will bring lots of stampers and inspiration!)
- Choose from one of the stoneware glazes to finish your works of art in the colour of your choice
All tools and materials are provided (you may wish to bring an apron), and refreshments (a hot drink and cake from the Victorian Tearoom) are included in the cost.
After the session, your items will be dried, bisque fired, glazed and then given a final firing at Muddy Fingers HQ. It will be ready to collect from Preston Park around four weeks after the workshop.

This workshop is £40 per person. Places must be booked in advance. Please call the museum on 01642 527375 We’re open 10am – 4pm, Tuesday – Sunday (if we are unable to answer, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as we can).
